Taraporewala Aquarium Mumbai

Taraporewala Aquarium is situated on the marine drive which is in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is one of the most congested areas in entire India. This aquarium consists of rare species of fishes and other marine lives as well as beautiful rare collection of pearl jewelries.

Within a short span of time this aquarium will be renovated so that it can be changed to a high-tech aquarium. It will attract more tourists and visitors. It will have glass vision sea world with underwater sea walk and many other things of attraction. It gets opened everyday of the week other than Monday. You can see both fresh water and sea water fishes. This Taraporewala Aquarium was opened by Rajendra Prasad in the year 1951. The aquarium has collection of turtle, shark, octopus, sea flower, pearls, sea horses, shells worms, corals and kite fish. Products that are made from the shells and pearls are also found here.

This place is well connected with transportation facilities – airways, roadways and railways. The best possible transport system helps people to visit without facing any problem. A number of hotels and lodges are also there just beside this place. So, tourist can easily have a great stay in this place.

Taraporewala Aquarium Timing : 11:00 am to 8:00 PM in weekdays and on Sunday the timings are Morning 10:00 am to 8:00 PM. Mondays is always closed.
