Bhoganandishwara Temple

Bhoganandishwara Temple is a popular tourist place and it is situated at the Nandi hills. This is a center for tourist attraction and is known to be sacred among the local people. You need to leave your shoes outside on the shoe rack before entering in the temple. The trees are huge and provide shade to the people during the summer season. If you want to sit and relax for some time, then this is the best place for you. You will not get to see any beggar or hawker around and the entry along with car parking is totally free. This is a quiet and calm environment. The temple is very beautiful with full of stone carvings.

There are three shrines in the temple. The complex area of this temple is quite huge. The three shrines include Srunachaleshwara in the south, Bhoganandishwara in the North and Umamaheshwara which is the smallest shrine of all. The shrine arunachaleshwara was dedicated to lord of the mountain, Arunachal which is in thuruvanamalai, Tamil nadu. Kalyanamantapa is made of black stone and have huge pillars beside it. It is attached to the smallest shrine and consists of incredible stone carvings. The painting and the intricate carvings will simply take your breath away.
